± I96I provides a detailed analysis of a decisive year in the 60’s, one that led to the “expansion of the arts”. The exhibition looks at the origins of this change – the experimental activity and the first collective activities that sparked the beginning of an unprecedented expansion in the idea of “composition”, generating a multidisciplinary project that occurred in real time throughout that year.

To accompany the exhibition, the Reina Sofía Museum has published a catalogue printed by Artes Gráficas Palermo.
